Amanda M. Sini, CNM, MSN
Amanda has been working with women and families for over 10 years. She began her journey to midwifery as a registered nurse on the labor and delivery, postpartum, and antepartum units at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2005. During her time there, she studied at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, eventually earning her Master’s degree in Midwifery in 2010.
Upon graduation, Amanda received her first midwifery job at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens. A year later, she had the privilege of joining the Stony Brook Midwives, where she practiced full-scope midwifery and attended hundreds of births.
Amanda is a passionate believer in the powerfully transformative process of birth. She is excited to now offer water birth and homebirth to her clients, as they are near and dear to her heart.
Amanda and her husband, Tim, are raising their three young children (all born at home!) in Babylon. She enjoys cooking, exercising, the beach, and spending time with her family.
